Job Title: Legislative Assistant Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Legislative Assistant Supervisor to join our team at the State House of Representatives. As a key member of our caucus, you will provide administrative support to our Caucus Administrator and assist with various tasks related to government relations and policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Caucus Administrator, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Assist with government relations and policy development, including researching and analyzing legislation, and providing recommendations to the Caucus Administrator.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve caucus goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and other organizations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Caucus Administrator.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in government relations, policy development, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
