Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Operations Manager to join our team at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of our hospital leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary services, providing exceptional client care, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Assist the Practice Manager in developing and implementing operational strategies to drive business growth and improve client satisfaction.
    • Supervise and mentor a team of veterinary assistants to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional client care.
    • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to identify and address operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Client Care and Service
    • Provide exceptional client care and service, ensuring that clients receive a positive and personalized experience.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and the veterinary team, communicating effectively and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve client flow, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall client experience.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Associate's degree or veterinary technician certification/licensure preferred.
    • Two years of experience in a healthcare or veterinary setting, with a minimum of six months of experience at Banfield Pet Hospital.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and management.
    • Ability to analyze data and implement changes to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
