Working closely with the HR Director, you ll oversee core HR functions such as workforce planning, employee relations, payroll administration, and compliance. You ll partner with bakery leadership to enhance the employee experience, drive engagement, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role requires a proactive approach to supporting employee well-being and fostering a workplace that aligns with our values and growth objectives.Accountabilities: Collaborate with the HR Director to develop, implement, and maintain strategic HR solutions that support both current and future needs of the bakeries, focusing on areas such as organizational design, performance management, health and welfare programs, and employee relations Oversee the bakery HR organization and manage all core HR processes and tools, including workforce planning, identifying training needs, and implementing strategies to reduce employee turnover and enhance the employee experience, while supporting the HR team in meeting ongoing business objectives. Partner with bakery leadership to manage and support weekly/biweekly payroll administration, talent management, learning and development, performance management, and compensation processes. Promote positive employee relations across the company, ensuring associates inquiries are promptly and accurately addressed, leveraging organizational resources effectively.
Administer FMLA and personal leave tracking for hourly employees, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping. Implement and communicate HR programs and benefits to new hires, including health and welfare insurance, 401(k), PTO, workers' compensation, and SDI. Provide support with online enrollment and changes in the ADP portal. Provide guidance on employee relations matters, partnering with leadership on employee engagement, corrective actions, and terminations to minimize liability and enhance processes. Investigating and resolving employee relations issues Coordinate recruitment efforts for bakery, support management recruitment as requested, and manage onboarding activities including assessments, physicals, and drug testing coordination. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, such as wage and hour laws, EEO/AA, and immigration requirements, while consistently administering company policies and supporting management and employee training initiatives.Qualifications: BS/BA in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field preferred. 5-7 years of HR experience preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. Exceptional oral and written communication abilities; able to clearly answer questions and convey information effectively to employees and management. Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong internet fluency. Familiarity with HRIS software, such as SuccessFactors and ADP, is beneficial.Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000Aspire Bakeries LLC values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. The final determination of a successful candidate s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, shift, education, skill, and experience within the job or the industry.
