We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Specialist. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance multiple brands’ awareness, engagement, and drive business growth through various social media platforms and events. If you have any background in the tech industry, it is a bonus.

Requirements

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Create and curate engaging content including posts, videos, and graphics that resonate with our target audience.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics and insights to optimize performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing to keep our strategies fresh and effective.

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan and coordinate both virtual and in-person events such as product launches, webinars, workshops, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, budget management, and attendee registration.
  • Develop promotional materials and strategies to drive attendance and maximize event ROI.
  • Ensure seamless execution of events by overseeing setup, staffing, and post-event follow-up.

Community Engagement:

  • Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates to enhance brand loyalty and advocacy.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to social media engagement, event attendance, and ROI.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate insights, trends, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • One day work in lake forest( Prefer Monday). Other 4 days work in Ontario locations
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 1-2 years working in social media management and event planning, preferably in the tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and event management software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events or live social media coverage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
