The role: Program Manager, Sales Development
Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.
Additional Role Description:
As a Program Manager in Sales Development, you will create amazing experiences for prospects, maximize revenue and meet the demands of a high growth business by managing regional Sales Development programs for Google workspace & Google Cloud. You'll manage the process of converting demand generated by the regional marketing team to qualified opportunities for the regional sales team.
You will manage two programs. One for Google Cloud Platform Traditional SMB and the other for Google Workspace. The programs are Sales Development programs with XDRs and management sitting in a vendor site. The main KPIs that are opportunities (#) and pipeline ($) accepted by the respective Sales Teams (SMB MM & SMB Scaled for GWS and GCP Trad). .Responsibilities:
- Build highly productive relationships with sales and marketing leaders to drive high close rates, offer demand generation advice, and maintain the feedback loop.
- Ensure procedural excellence by maintaining tight documentation and reinforcing team standards.
- Capitalize on opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency by driving key automation and productivity initiatives.
- Consolidate and interpret metrics for your team to drive insight into your market and sales motion.
- Meet or exceed KPI's for conversion, opportunities, pipeline, revenue and service level agreements.
- Lead the program with the vendor by periodically meeting with their leadership, including site leads, team leads, trainers and quality.
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 3+ years of experience in sales and market/business development. - Experience working in Sales Development, Sales, Sales operations roles
Desired
Experience in working with vendors. - CRM experience with Salesforce. - Experience managing complex, cross functional projects. - Ability to think strategically and focus on quantitative impact. - Excellent Project Management skills
