Ingredient Sales RepresentativeSuccessful and growing global importer and food manufacturer headquartered in the Mohawk Valley is seeking anIngredient Sales Representativeto assist with growing the company s business by identifying and engaging new customer accounts. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and driven to succeed. This role reports to the VP Sales & Marketing.This is a key role in our continuing business expansion. Top candidates will either have experience and/or be enthusiastic about learning the bulk edible oils markets and food manufacturing industry. Primary responsibilities include revenue generation and margin management, with a focus on NEW business. This position may be remote or hybrid.Typical Duties (including but not limited to):Identify and engage new customer accountsCoordinate RFP/RFQ responses and assist with weekly pricingAssist the Sales and Operations teams with forecasting and reportingOversee new customer on-boarding processCoordination and participation of trade events and food showsAssist the VP of Sales & Marketing with creation and distribution of sales support materials such as sell sheets, presentations, monthly market updates, etcOther duties as needed in order to expand our businessPreferred experience and skills include:Associates degree or a minimum 2 years relevant experience applicable to sales and/or account management, especially in a food manufacturing environmentExperience working with dynamic pricing, margins, and sales forecastingExperience with contract tracking, add-on sales, and/or RFP/RFQ participationSuperb organizational and project management skillsExcellent communicator with attention to detailSalary & Benefits:Salary commensurate with experience; High Commission PotentialHoliday schedule and paid time offCompany-paid Individual Health InsuranceOptional additional Health Coverage, including Dental401K PlanCompany contribution to 401k (after one year)Demanding but fun work environment where the days fly byWork with an awesome team of people
