Are you up for the dare?This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.Position SummaryAs an Accounting Coordinator, you will work closely with the manufacturing and finance teams within the organization to support the processing of payroll, master data setups, vendor setups and payments, and miscellaneous material accounting functions. In this role, you will identify, troubleshoot and resolve all payroll errors and serve as primary point-of-contact for employee questions and concerns regarding payroll.Perform all pay period payroll functions and related analysis, including review and reconciliation of new hires, terminations, salary changes, promotions, time tracking, manual checks, deductions and bonus payoutsReconcile general ledger journal entries each pay period as well as perform continuous analysis of payroll processing including variances from prior pay periods, accurate punches, audit of punches and ensuring appropriate approvalsUnderstand, investigate and resolve all discrepancies with invoices and accounts payablesAddress errors and verify accuracy of purchase orders from the purchasing department to ensure proper inventory levels and payments are processedPerform period-end activities including accruals, purchase order tracking, reporting and other activities needed to close the booksUtilize Microsoft Office products and enterprise resource planning software to perform daily accounting functionsRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent and 2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environmentORAssociate s Degree in Accounting and 1+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment1+ year experience using a Payroll ProgramOtherExperience using SAP Software and Microsoft Office ProgramsThe approximate pay range for this position is $37,000 to $53,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
