About Our Opportunity
As a Patient Triage and Imaging Coordinator, you’ll assist with the daily customer service and scheduling of patients for our KISx Card and KIS Imaging programs. The KISx Card and KIS Imaging programs allow participating members to schedule outpatient surgical procedures and high-end radiology procedures, including MRI, CT, and PET scans, within a proprietary network of providers with little or no out-of-pocket expense to the employee.
The primary roles of the Patient Triage Coordinator are to ensure exemplary customer service while interacting with the Nursing Team and coordinating the scheduling of exams for all requesting patients.
Things You’ll Do Here:
- Provide detailed information on program benefits, procedures, and protocols via phone and email to incoming patients.
- Accurately gather and document essential patient details, including demographic data, eligibility criteria, and specific surgical or imaging needs.
- Assist with coordination of scheduling imaging or guiding to Case Management ensuring their convenience and adherence to program protocols.
- Consistently update patient files and customer accounts with relevant case notes and other pertinent details.
- Be the face of outstanding customer service, ensuring every program participant leaves with a positive impression.
- Build synergies with various internal teams, especially the clinical nursing staff and operations members, to streamline patient care processes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with imaging scheduling coordinators to support
- patient care and the company’s growth.
- Address queries from providers and internal team members promptly and effectively, ensuring complete clarity and satisfaction.
- Proactively identify challenging situations and ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate escalation with our business partners.
- Attend departmental meetings and stay up to date on all business initiatives related to the program.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably within a healthcare or insurance-related setting, demonstrating the ability to handle patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and compassionately.
- Knack of organization and time management in order to succeed in data collection, scheduling, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new applications and systems.
- Team player – The ability to work with the whole team and are willing to contribute in any way necessary to accomplish our goals.
A plus if you have:
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Where You’ll Work
This role is located in our Mechanicsburg, PA office. Your schedule will be Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm EST.
