The System Reliability Engineer (SRE) guides and mentors other SREs and improves and protects the software and systems behind all of T-Mobile's IT services, including management of scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, and capacity, and delivering of software faster, better, and cheaper. From designing & maintaining CICD Pipelines to building the next generation of T-Mobile applications on cloud native platforms, the SRE's enable great customer experience and product innovation by continuous improvement of operational support.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Entra ID Administrator to manage our Microsoft 365 GCC High environments. The role demands a thorough understanding of GCC High compliance requirements and a commitment to maintaining robust, secure identity management practices. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in identity solutions, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. This position is pivotal in ensuring that our identity management systems operate seamlessly, adhere to strict security protocols, and support the organization's overall cybersecurity posture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes fluent knowledge and skill in emerging DevOps-centric automation tools and technologies for CICD, configuration management, etc. for non-prod environments.
  • Performs environment management, automated server provisioning, pipeline configuration (VMs).
  • Delivers software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of T-Mobile's services.
  • Creates, manages, and uses dashboard for continuous monitoring and health check of applications, and the underlying infrastructure, improve the quality of services using the monitoring feedback for non-production environment.
  • Contributes in future improvement of software delivery processes and operations, e.g., cloud enablement, use of microservices with containerization.
  • Relationship and People Management: Mentors/guides other Systems Reliability Engineers and vendor resources as needed.
  • System Administration: Configure, manage, and maintain Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant settings to ensure they meet government security standards.
  • Identity and Access Management: Oversee the provisioning, maintenance, and deactivation of user identities and permissions within the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring proper access controls are consistently applied.
  • Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security measures related to identity management to comply with GCC High requirements, including regular updates and patches.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve identity management issues and security breaches in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT security, compliance, and other relevant departments to align identity management strategies with organizational goals.
  • Technical Support and Training: Offer technical support to end-users facing issues with identity management tools and systems. Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on new tools and best practices.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development of policies and procedures that enforce the security of identity management systems within the GCC High framework.
  • Audit and Reporting: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; generate comprehensive reports on identity management health and security incidents.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree (Preferred)

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in IT systems administration, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft 365 environments, preferably GCC High. (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD, Entra ID, and PowerShell scripting. (Required)
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve complex issues effectively. (Required)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across multiple teams. (Required)
  • Meticulous with a proven ability to manage numerous projects and priorities. (Required)
  • Experience working in an Agile and DevOps environment. (Required)
  • Experience in one or more scripting language such as PowerShell or others (Required)
  • Experience with DevOps tools, such as, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc. Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, etc. is preferable. (Preferred)
  • Experience in APM tool, like, AppDynamics, logging tool, like Splunk. (Required)
  • Experience in migrating to cloud or cloud native environment experience. (Preferred)
  • Experience in Cloud Backup, DR Technology. (Preferred)
  • Experience in Microsoft Defender for Identity. (Preferred)
