Position Overview

The Mechanical Engineer specializing in Air Pollution Control will take charge of the comprehensive mechanical design for Dust Collection, Pneumatic Conveying, Material Handling, and Bulk Storage Systems, along with associated equipment. This role encompasses the conceptualization, design, and optimization of systems to align with client requirements and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include project management, CAD modeling, equipment selection, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution. The engineer will also perform feasibility studies, troubleshooting, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. The objective is to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and reliable systems that improve industrial processes while maintaining safety and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design of new machinery by leveraging mechanical expertise.
  • Evaluate and suggest enhancements to existing dust collection, material transport, and storage systems.
  • Specify, integrate, review, and authorize the procurement of air movement, material handling, and bulk storage machinery.
  • Provide immediate support to resolve construction-related challenges.
  • Modify designs considering cost factors and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Organize, produce, and maintain comprehensive drawings and bills of materials.
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure compliance with project timelines.
  • Engage with various departments, clients, and suppliers as necessary to deliver technical support for business operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • 2-4 years of experience in industrial design engineering.
  • Background in project management is a plus.
  • Experience with belt conveyors, bucket elevators, and bulk storage systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Inventor and Solidworks is highly preferred.
  • In-depth technical knowledge in air pollution control, including fabric filter and material transport systems.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite products.
  • Excellent verbal, written, technical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
