The Business Development Manager will be accountable for identifying and delivering new business opportunities, partnerships & ventures that align with the company's strategic Broadband objectives. This individual will also execute the strategies thru contract negotiation for T-Fiber. A successful individual will understand the broadband industry and bring forth ideas on growth and operations. We're looking for an individual who is a self-starter, eager to contribute, and thrives at seeing a project through from start to finish. Must be highly organized and motivated with the ability to effectively manage multiple relationships and projects.

This is a hybrid position required to be working in-office at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:
  • Structure and drive strategic partnerships and new business relationships including development of key economic, business, and operational terms; negotiate and execute contracts with these partnerships; and manage their evolution
  • Scout, identify and/or create new business opportunities and partnerships: a) identify and analyze complex market/business opportunities, b) evaluate key players and technologies, c) assess customer and market opportunities, d) develop differentiated product/service strategies, e) create potential economic/financial/business models, f) make T-Mobile recommendations, and g) develop business relationships to create new strategic partners
  • Manage senior-level relationships with internal customers and with key players in the Fiber industry - both in established and emerging segments and ecosystems
  • Host QBRs with partners working cross functionally to achieve results
  • Assist with strategic analysis and guidance (economic/financial, customer and market opportunities, key players and technologies, potential business models, T-Mobile fit, etc.) for of the Fiber-to-the-Home sector and domain
  • Formulate recommendations and lead reviews of new opportunities, technologies, business models etc., to cross-functional teams
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

  • Excel at reading and analyzing sophisticated agreements. You can identify the key issues that impact business decisions and are equipped with superior contract skills including the ability to build, define requirements, and implement contract amendments as needed
  • Wow factor. You don't just put text on a slide - you are an expert at building a story out of the data and succinctly presenting complex problems.
  • Clear communicator. You can synthesize analysis into succinct, executive-ready written, visual and verbal communications fit for VP+ presentation
  • Structured problem solver and negotiator. You can frame and bring structure to key contractual terms and see through an agreement from start to finish.
  • Savvy and organized. You are savvy and experienced at managing day-to-day business relationships, including having the ability to see growth objective through quickly while preserving long-term value.
  • Independent doer. You desire a high level of responsibility and can work with minimal direction. You are comfortable working in a high-intensity environment.
  • Fearless "Un-carrier" spirit. You possess a relentless appetite to inspire change and aren't bound by the "status quo".

This is a hybrid position required to be working in-office at least 3 days a week.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field; Advanced degree preferred
  • 4 years of business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: a direct communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Agile; thrives in fast-paced and constantly shifting environment
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects and teams
  • Demonstrated experience and comfort working with complex, long-term partnerships.
  • Track record of demonstrating a high level of achievement.
  • Strong problem resolution skills, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States


Base Pay Range: $85,800 - $154,800

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
