Make history with us.Summary:The Manager FP&A - Sales Finance will play a key role in improving processes and reporting around Shopper Marketing and E-Commerce and will serve as a key business partner to the Shopper Marketing Team, MARS, Brand Finance, and the E-Commerce Sales Team. This role supports the U.S. Meals andBeverages Shopper Marketing organization and E-Commerce Sales Team. The ideal candidate will be able to drive results through process and interact effectively with stakeholders across varying levels and functionswithin the organization.Primary Responsibilities:-Manage key aspects of the Shopper Marketing, E-Commerce Search, and Consumer Promotionmonthly close and projection process, including:Analyzing centralized P&L line items, focusing on working and nonworking marketingspendManaging Checkbook authorized spending adjustmentsPerforming monthly variance analyses and risk and opportunities reporting to deliver value-added financial insights to key stakeholdersPartnering with Brand Finance Leads to monitor, analyze and report key P&L driversGenerating the Shopper Marketing projection and loading to EPM on a monthly basisPartnering with accounting to review aged events.Reviewing monthly redemption reporting from coupon clearinghouse (NCH) to manage any risks of coupon over-redemptions.Reviewing monthly third-party (Spark) actuals on search spend and managing and risks and opportunities versus budgets in e4 and MMM.(Quarterly) Working with the Accounting Team to develop Balance Sheet Review commentary.(Quarterly) Developing CFO letter commentary for Shopper Marketing.- Act as a business partner to understand strategy, provide insights where possible, and partner with the Omni Shopper Marketing Team, MARS (our Shopper Marketing vendor), Spark (our retailer search vendor) and Brand Finance to manage overall marketing spend, including:Working with the Omni Shopper Marketing Team - Direct and MARS - to ensure thatevents are properly reflected in e4, MMM, SAP, and EPMServing as the Subject Matter Expert for Shopper Marketing in e4 and MMM- Manage transfer process for incremental trade and brand funds that come into the Shopper budget throughout the year.-Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development for Shopper MarketingDrive process improvement, including:Suggesting process improvements to reduce complexity and improve the accuracy andtimeliness of information, including a monthly reporting package for Meals and Beverages.Suggesting systematic improvements to e4.- Manage key aspects of trade management for E-Commerce related to:Fiduciary Control:Maintain and continually improve strong internal controls that ensure companyassets are adequately safeguarded at all times.Support controls specific to trade investment, ensuring trade rate objectives aremet, or variances identified and communicated to ensure an understanding ofimplications to business unit and customer profitability.Business Management:Assist with development of customer sales and investment forecasts and annual operating plans within the corporate strategic guardrails.Track Volume and Spending Operating Plans and compare to actual results.Improve forecasting accuracy to drive cost out of the system.Track, analyze and communicate team sales, orders, deductions, margin andprofit vs prior year.Manage trade marketing funding allocations.Manage customer Cost to Serve model.Lead the monthly close process for customer and communicate trade and saleschanges to Sales Strategy and Sales Finance LeadsPlanning & AnalysisWork with Customer team on Incremental Funding Requests (IFRs) andvalidating P&Ls and assumptions.Partner with Customer Lead and Team Lead to analyze and develop salessolutions.Provide ad hoc analysis as requested by Finance Management and asnecessary based on the Customer business need.Training DevelopmentWork with Customer Leads to increase their ability in planning and analysis.- Ad-hoc Analytical Support for both the Shopper Marketing and E-commerce sales teams.Complexity:Must have strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams.Must be viewed as a trusted advisor by all stakeholder/partners and have the ability to influenceglobal adoption of processes.Ability to assess and synthesize data from multiple data sources and systems.Ability to lead and adapt to change, drive results through process/continuous improvement, and interact effectively with stakeholders across varying levels and functions within the organization.Proficiency with or ability to learn and become proficient with financial and operational tools including e4, MMM, SAP and EPMMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, MBA preferredCPA certification a plus8-10 years of relevant financial analysis and accounting experience required relevant industry experience preferredSales Finance experience highly preferredKnowledge of US GAAP a plusProficiency with Power BIDemonstrated leadership skillsHighly motivated and proactive in problem solvingStrong verbal and written communication and client interface skillsCompensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$85,900-$140,800Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
