We are seeking a dynamic and driven Permanent Project Engineer to join our team in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a Construction Management Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and technical aspects of our construction projects to ensure accuracy and timeliness. This role involves a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to be involved in a variety of exciting projects.

Job Details

As a Permanent Project Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and managing detailed project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
2. Coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will meet the project objectives.
3. Ensuring project compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
4. Managing contracts and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
5. Overseeing the delivery of construction materials and ensuring their proper storage and distribution on site.
6. Resolving any site issues swiftly to prevent project delays.
7. Conducting regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
8. Providing technical advice to the project team and stakeholders.
9. Preparing and presenting project progress reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for the Permanent Project Engineer role should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
4. Proficiency in project management software tools.
5. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software.
6. Familiarity with construction and project management software (such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera).
7. Exceptional contract management skills.
8. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
9. Strong leadership and management skills.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Ability to work in a team and coordinate with various stakeholders.
12. A professional engineering (PE) license will be considered an advantage.
