Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field investigations and coordinate with clients and project stakeholders
  • Prepare all phases of design and construction documents
  • Assist with bidding and provide construction administration assistance
  • Direct drafting and technical support personnel
  • Work with other in-house and sub-contracted disciplines
Requirements
  • Four or more years of experience working as a Civil Engineer in a design-related role
  • Registered as a Professional Civil Engineer (or Environmental Engineer) in Alaska
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • AutoCAD drafting experience a plus
Working Conditions
  • Travel to remote locations via aircraft, boats, snow machines, and other off-road vehicles
  • Work in a wide range of temperatures, including extreme temperatures down to -50 degrees F
