Location: Quincy, WA Onsite
Duration/Type of Job: 12 Months
Job Description:
A Data Center Technician is responsible for maintaining and managing the critical infrastructure of a data center. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a data center environment or similar role
- Proven experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment
- In-depth knowledge of server hardware, software, and networking protocols
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Understanding of layer 2 switch administration
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform work requiring extended walking and bending Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or CCNP are advantageous
