Southern California - General Diagnostic Radiologist. Open to tele-radiology for full-time coverage.

  • Group is 5 Radiologists, 4 FTE physicians and 1 FTE Interventional Radiologist. Group is now considering tele-radiologists willing to cover full-time.
  • Weekend call will average to every 5th or 6th weekend. Weekend coverage runs from 8 am - 7 pm with post call off on Mondays.
  • Option for paid internal "moonlighting" if more weekends are taken to supplement income ($4,500/weekend).
  • Salary to start is $426K/year (or $35,500/month) with $20K sign on bonus and up to $10K relocation. Salary increases to $480K/year after 1st year and increase to partner salary after 2nd year. No buy-in full partnership to include voting rights after 3rd year.
  • $3K/year CME stipend
  • Vacation 10 weeks/year, increase to 12 weeks/year after 2nd year
  • Two weekday shifts, 8am to 4pm and 12pm to 8pm. Weekends and holidays 8am to 7pm. All night coverage by nighthawk teleradiology. Weekends (12pm to 8pm afternoon) and evening shifts taken from home with workstations provided by the group.
  • Workload 100+ studies per day
  • Mammo capability preferred.
  • All IR covered by FTE IR except Mammo biopsies.
  • Malpractice and tail covered.
  • Primary coverage at 107 bed acute care hospital in the Imperial Valley located 2 hours East of San Diego, CA
  • Group also provides diagnostic reads to local clinics and urgent care.
  • Visa sponsorship considered but do need candidates available asap.
  • Must be BE/BC by American Board of Radiology
  • CA medical license required
