Position Overview: The Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a vital role within the radiology department, assisting in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and clinical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in complex vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is prepared and operational.
  • Perform imaging and positioning of patients during diagnostic angiographic procedures.
  • Resolve any equipment malfunctions and demonstrate a thorough understanding of human anatomy and radiation safety protocols.
  • Participate in the training and evaluation of staff, contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of California Radiology Technologist - Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) License.
  • California Radiology Technologist - Radiography (CRT-R) License is required.
  • Registered Technologist for Radiography certification from ARRT (R.T(R)(ARRT)).
  • Current BART or BLS certification, with a commitment to obtain BART within six months of hire.
  • Experience in diagnostic angiographic and interventional procedures is essential.
  • Proficient in PACS and have a solid understanding of operating room and fluoroscopy practices.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Experience with CT imaging is advantageous.

Work Conditions:

  • Flexibility in working hours is required, including potential for alternate locations and varying shifts.
  • Employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $120,478 - $149,835, with an hourly equivalent of $71.76. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and organizational needs.
