Radiologic Technologist

This position is essential for providing high-quality imaging services.
Note: This role is open until a suitable candidate is found.
Role Overview: The incumbent will operate under general supervision to conduct a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing both fixed and portable imaging devices across General Diagnostic Radiology. This is performed in alignment with established protocols and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced knowledge of radiologic technology to execute complex imaging procedures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in diagnostics, providing assistance to fellow technologists as necessary.
- Implement and uphold principles of radiation safety in all procedures.
- Prepare and position patients effectively to ensure optimal imaging results, adhering to protocols set by the Radiologist.
- Input complex data into the imaging system and assess images for technical and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Exhibit strong communication and conflict resolution skills with patients and healthcare team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Level: Depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate, this role may be filled at either the Radiologic Technologist or Senior Radiologic Technologist level.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Recent graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Possession of California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R) certification.
- California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) certification must be obtained within six months of hire for Senior level consideration.
- Registered Technologist for Radiography credential from ARRT (R.T(R)(ARRT)).
- BART or BLS certification at the time of hire, with a commitment to obtain BART within six months.
- Less than 18 months of relevant experience or a new graduate of an approved program for Radiologic Technologist OR over 18 months of experience for Senior Radiologic Technologist.
- Possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities for successful performance in this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in a hospital setting.
Special Conditions:
- Availability to work various hours and locations as needed.
- Flexibility to work shifts that may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and potential overtime.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background check and pre-employment physical examination.
Compensation: The annual full pay range for this position is $97,781 - $121,605, with hourly equivalent rates starting at $58.24. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant factors.
