Pediatric Endocrinology Clinician

The University of North Carolina School of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Endocrinology Clinician to join our multi-specialty academic practice in Wilmington, NC.
The clinician will focus on outpatient care with some inpatient consultation services and must be experienced in managing high prevalence endocrinology conditions of children, as well as willing to manage rare and complex conditions with the support of the UNC Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill. This is a full-time position with a focus on clinical care, education, and research. The highlights of this position are as follows:
- An excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing pediatric endocrinology practice
- Expansion of educational opportunities with medical students, health profession students, and residents
- Collaboration with Novant Health, UNC Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill, and the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology
- Providing specialty care to children from communities throughout southeastern and coastal NC
Qualifications:
- Board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Expertise in management of high prevalence endocrinology conditions of children, as well as willingness and interest in managing rare and complex conditions with the support of the UNC Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill is expected
Wilmington, NC is a charming, coastal city located in the southeastern corner of North Carolina between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean. The city offers a mild, four-season climate, historic preservation district, annual cultural events, and numerous championship golf courses. The historic downtown area features a 1.75-mile River walk, while the Wrightsville, Carolina, and Kure Beaches are all within a half hour drive from downtown Wilmington.
