Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage organizational restructuring processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruptions.
  • Serve as a reliable problem solver for a wide range of HR issues.
  • Act as a backup for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate open enrollment processes using UKG.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, providing guidance and support to staff.
  • Perform typical HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, managing HRIS, and preparing reports.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
  • Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
  • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, with a strong background in reorganization management.
  • Proficiency in using UKG software for HR functions.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes and ability to act as a backup for payroll tasks.
  • Experience with open enrollment and benefits administration.
  • Strong employee relations skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Familiarity with typical HR administrative and generalist tasks.
  • Canadian HR experience is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, preferably UKG.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
