Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the AVP of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist oversees performance management and improvement systems, organizational development, employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting, employee data maintenance in HRIS system, employee license and certification management, and any other duties as assigned (such as oversight of the Vitality Program, Spirit Committee, position control, worker's compensation progam, etc.)

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

High School graduate or GED equivalent required; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business related field highly preferred.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

3 years previous experience in Human Resources preferred, education in lieu of experience will be considered.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

PHR Certification preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local employment laws and regulatory compliance requirements. General knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel administration, knowledge of sound techniques in all aspects of personnel management, ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with staff and management, excellent organizational skills with emphasis on detail and ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
