The Role
We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Product Lead in the Life Sciences to bring one or more therapeutics from concept to IND. As leader of an end-to-end, cross-disciplinary effort, the candidate will leverage our state-of-the-art AI and automation platform to drive the development of novel medicines while independently managing preclinical timelines and business development paths. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in drug development and managing complex projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Target Product Profiles: Develop the Target Product Profiles (TPPs) for valuable new biological therapeutics that can be discovered on our platform.
- Lead Therapeutics Programs: Oversee the end-to-end development of therapeutics projects, ensuring timely progression from concept to market launch.
- Platform Usage: Act as an early adopter and source of customer feedback by executing discovery and optimization campaigns on our proprietary AI and automation platform.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive program strategies, including setting milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal R&D and platform teams, while managing outsourced services for IND-enabling workstreams.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all development activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including academic institutions, regulatory bodies, and industry collaborators.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
- Stay Informed: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
- Educational Background: Ph.D. or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in therapeutics or drug development, with a demonstrable track record of bringing novel therapeutics to IND
- Technical Expertise: Strong familiarity with AI-driven drug development, combined with deep life sciences and business development expertise
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic Thinker: Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and processes
