We are focused on building a brilliant team who want to change payments and who embody Imprint's Operating Principles.
The Team

The Growth Team at Imprint is responsible for relentlessly driving the growth of our business, from setting go-to-market strategy, to launching and running our merchant partners' programs successfully, and scaling their growth through new cardholder acquisition and existing cardholder engagement. We span business development, partner success, brand and product marketing, and work cross-functionally with the leadership team to be the voice and advocate for our partners.
The Job

The Engagement Marketing Lead will own the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to drive cardholder engagement, spend and balance growth. This is a critical and strategic role ensuring that partner programs are on track to meet business objectives across time horizons.

You will collaborate closely as a marketing thought leader with other cross-functional teams, including Data, Technology, Product, Finance, and Credit Risk. You will identify opportunities and develop targeted, personalized campaigns across a growing partner portfolio to enhance cardholder loyalty and lifetime value. You will also formulate and curate a multi-year roadmap for the evolution of engagement marketing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies targeted to existing cardholders:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop data-driven marketing strategies and journeys that drive increased product utilization, especially spend and balance growth
    • Create and manage multi-touch journeys across owned and paid channels (email, SMS, push, and direct mail)
    • Configure and execute campaigns in Braze, our existing platform for multi-channel engagement
  • Segmentation and Targeting: Utilize performance reporting and analyses to identify high-value customer segments and develop personalized communications that drive action.
  • Offers and Incentives: Design and implement offers and rewards that encourage cardholders to use their co-branded credit cards more frequently and outside of the merchant in their everyday lives.
  • Test & Learn: Devise a learning agenda of experiments to advance marketing effectiveness over time
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor cardholder behavior, track campaign performance, and identify opportunities for optimization. Regularly present insights, updates, and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Creative Development: Lead the creative development process, collaborating with design and copywriting teams to produce compelling assets
  • Capability Roadmap: Work cross-functionally to define data requirements and MarTech capabilities needed to enable increasingly smarter targeting and automation of campaign deployment
We Are Looking For Folks With
  • 5+ years owning customer marketing strategy with a proven track record of success
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools and customer relationship management platforms, especially Braze, to build journeys and launch relevant messages to customers
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to translate performance reports into actionable marketing insights and recommendations
  • The ability to thrive in the sweet spot between long-term strategic thinking and producing tangible results by rolling your sleeves to get into the details
  • Excellent project management and time management skills to effectively manage multiple project priorities
  • A collaborative and solutions-oriented approach paired with a positive, can-do attitude
Bonus Points
  • Proficiency with the Braze platform
  • Experience with credit card marketing or other financial services
  • Experience with utilizing models to drive next best action marketing and optimization (customer Lifetime Value, Attrition, etc.)
