**Position Summary**: The Marketing & Engagement Specialist is a collaborative and supportive member of the Membership, Marketing & Communications (MMC) division. Responsibilities of this role include working collaboratively with the MCC team to identify the need for new services, implement them, and serve as a front facing support representative of the association.

**Essential Functions** include but are not limited to:
**Member Experience and Engagement**
- Increase member and prospective engagement by maintaining existing initiates and crafting new ways to better connect with advances proactive registered nurse
- Coordinate member engagement focused virtual programs, e-communities, and other digital content
- Collaborate on developing of strategies and campaigns for membership recruitment, engagement, and retention
- Optimize and oversee membership-based campaigns in the engagement platform for member renewal, onboarding and reboarding campaigns. Content writing should be innovative, persona-based
- Research and develop content and external provider relationships focused on adding and promoting career enhancing member benefits
- Develop, design, and execute promotions/outreach specific to membership marketing efforts, including marketing collateral and digital campaigns
- Engage with members online, on the phone and in-person to better understand professional needs and provide valuable support and resources

**Member Recruitment & Retention**
- Develop, design, and execute promotions/outreach specific to membership marketing efforts, including marketing collateral and digital campaigns
- Develop and implement multi-channel strategies for member retention, member win back and new member join
- Investigate trends and best practices to develop and implement member-get-a-member campaigns and other new member join strategies
- Develop and maintain the membership marketing and engagement calendar to align with other MarComm campaigns
- Support members and prospects online, on the phone and in-person, by answering frequently asked questions, directing to resources and better understanding their professional needs

**Data Management**
- Develop and implement strategy to improve quality and completeness of member data
- Produce and analyze metric reports and recommend improvements, as needed
- Maintain awareness of digital communication trends, best practices, technologies, CAN-SPAM laws

**Minimum requirements for the position**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field
- Two to four years of member engagement and/or marketing experience, preferably at a nonprofit organization
- Experience managing multi-channel, behavior-based membership campaigns
- Experience with AMS/CMR data management and analytical reporting

Pay: $57,250.00 - $67,500.00 per year
