The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily functioning of the Pharmacy Department in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy. This role works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure positive clinical outcomes for patients of all ages. The Pharmacy Operations Manager also fulfills the responsibilities of a staff pharmacist when necessary and ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards. Additionally, this role serves as a resource to other pharmacy staff and addresses employee concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed in good standing by the State Pharmacy Board
  • Degree from an accredited pharmacy program preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Physical Requirements:

  • Visual acuity and ability to lift at least 30 pounds
