Pharmacy Technician Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to ensure seamless prescription fulfillment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding expectations and demonstrating a genuine care for patients and customers.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory compliance standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Licensure requirements vary by state.
  • Attention to detail and ability to concentrate on tasks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
  • PTCB National Certification.
