Your Purpose

As the CFO, you will manage our financial operations, ensuring stability and fostering growth. Your leadership will be crucial in handling financial activities, ensuring compliance, and providing insights for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Management and Leadership

  • Oversee all accounting functions for a $90M-$100M revenue company.
  • Collaborate with executive management on business development and financial forecasting.
  • Provide financial information to support division operations.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for executive management.

Financial Oversight

  • Review financial reports, accounts receivable, job cost analysis, and journal entries.
  • Stay informed about trends that could impact the company.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions.
  • Analyze returns on investments and track labor costs quarterly.

Treasury and Risk Management

  • Manage treasury functions, protecting excess cash and optimizing interest earnings.
  • Negotiate premiums for workers' compensation and general liability insurance.
  • Participate in planning medical/dental policies and reviewing RFPs for TPAs for medical or 401(k) plans.
  • Manage fiduciary responsibilities for the 401(k) plan.

Customer and Project Support

  • Prepare annual cost projections for customer rates and collaborate on rate structures.
  • Generate contract review reports, analyzing profits/losses with project managers.
  • Validate contract setups and assist with budget sheets and cost coding.

Software and Technology Management

  • Implement new software to enhance efficiencies with the Timberline system.
  • Design and write necessary reports, support IT in maintaining server cleanliness, and troubleshoot software issues.
  • Collaborate with Timberline support to improve processes and update accrual tables annually.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare and file documentation to maintain state licenses and compliance.
  • Investigate licensing processes for potential new states and manage annual tax filings.

Year-End Responsibilities

  • Work with HR and PR on year-end flex spending benefits and medical/dental plan changes.
  • Prepare and review bonus incentive plans, presenting financial recaps to executive management for approval.
