Software Configuration Manager

Description

We are seeking a Software Configuration Manager to join our team, responsible for a cloud integration and sustainment program involving deployment and maintenance of operational cloud deployed Aeronautical solutions. This role will include participating in release planning events, daily scrums, and technical discussions as needed within Agile methodologies. Key responsibilities also include documentation, software management, architecture diagrams, cloud cost control, and collaboration with other teams and stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new customers or functionality by understanding requirements gathering process
  • Acquire, track and manage software working with customer teams
  • Review deployments for new features and create documentation for system quality
  • Update systems engineering artifacts and program architectural diagrams
  • Monitor and manage cloud costs, prioritize work, and communicate efficiently with team members and clients

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or Masters with 2-6 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of direct Customer experience in lieu of degree
  • Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Polygraph post hire
  • Significant experience as a Systems Engineer and/or Configuration Manager using tools such as Git, Jenkins and Nexus as well configuration management databases
  • Understanding of AWS/Cloud technologies and Agile/SAFe development methodologies
  • Experience with team collaboration tools and Technical Writing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the Aeronautical Domain; former Pilots, Air Traffic Controllers, Military experience is a plus
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Experience leading Change Management Teams and improving deployment processes
  • Understanding of CM/SE process for entire life cycle of systems and Government processes and procedures including SWAP, SWIDs, and other CM taskings
