We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Configuration Specialist to become a vital part of our organization, overseeing a cloud integration and sustainment initiative that focuses on the deployment and upkeep of operational aeronautical solutions in the cloud. This position will involve engaging in release planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and technical discussions as necessary within Agile frameworks. Key duties also encompass documentation, software oversight, architectural schematics, cloud expenditure management, and collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the onboarding of new clients or functionalities by comprehending the requirements gathering process.
- Acquire, monitor, and manage software in conjunction with customer teams.
- Evaluate deployments for new features and produce documentation to ensure system quality.
- Revise systems engineering artifacts and program architectural schematics.
- Oversee and manage cloud expenditures, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of pertinent experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of direct customer experience in lieu of a degree.
- Possession of an Active Top Secret clearance or the capability to obtain a Polygraph post-hire.
- Extensive experience as a Systems Engineer and/or Configuration Manager utilizing tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Nexus, as well as configuration management databases.
- Familiarity with AWS/Cloud technologies and Agile/SAFe development methodologies.
- Experience with team collaboration tools and technical documentation.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience within the Aeronautical sector; prior pilots, air traffic controllers, or military experience is advantageous.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience leading Change Management Teams and enhancing deployment processes.
- Comprehension of the CM/SE process throughout the entire lifecycle of systems and government processes and procedures, including SWAP, SWIDs, and other CM tasks.
