Audit Manager

This job is open to Hybrid work. As an audit manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations of audit engagements. You'll closely work with the team to address accounting, auditing, and other issues, while using audit tools and technology. You will be a key component in the delivery of quality services that aim to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities for Audit Manager
  • Gain understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge to strategize the planning and execution of engagements
  • Manage and supervise the successful execution of engagements, including managing the budget, resourcing strategy, billing and collections, and progress against the plan, timeline, and milestones
  • Set the appropriate culture for the engagement team to achieve success and mentor staff in their career development
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations and solutions
  • Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Participate in the proposal process for new clients and projects
  • Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
  • Participate in recruiting efforts as needed.
  • Mentor audit staff, provide them with developmental feedback and career guidance.
Qualifications for Audit Manager
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in accounting
  • 4+sufficient years of Public Accounting experience.
