Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinical setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimal supervision. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with physicians and Charge Nurse about changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in hemodynamic status or response to treatment.

Specifications: 1. Education: Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing. 2. Experience: New graduates are accepted. Certification/License/Registration: Must have current Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse License. CPR Required. ACLS and PALS desired/preferred

The Medical Center of Peach County has served residents of Peach and the surrounding counties for 60 years and its future is brighter than ever.

Peach County Hospital opened in September 1953 as a non-profit acute-care hospital. The original building was expanded and remodeled many times before being replaced in 2013 with a new state-of-the-art facility.
