As a vital member of our hospice care team, the Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in providing compassionate support to patients at the end of life. This full-time position is for the 3rd shift at our Trillium Woods Inpatient Hospice facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and comfort levels, effectively communicating any changes to physicians, families, and caregivers.
- Develop and modify personalized care plans, focusing on managing discomfort and providing symptom relief.
- Administer medications and treatments while collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Group for comprehensive care planning.
- Deliver specialized training to staff, families, and caregivers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about disease processes while offering emotional support.
- Supervise LPNs and paraprofessionals, maintaining clear communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Foster trusting relationships with patients and families, ensuring timely completion of necessary documentation.

Qualifications
- RN licensure in Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in med/surg, acute care, or skilled nursing.
- Preferred experience in hospice or hospital settings.
- A genuine passion for hospice nursing.
