Description & Requirements

Maximus is currently hiring Bilingual Application Support Technicians to join our team This position is responsible for supporting Health Texas by using designated work instructions, other instructions to execute critical and routine tasks. To prepare for this role, Maximus provides paid, comprehensive training that equips our ASTs with the highest levels of knowledge and professionalism.

Please note, these are Full-time, Hybrid/Remote roles- you will do equipment training half day at the site and all training will be completed from home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Use the appropriate designated work instructions and other instructions to execute critical and routine tasks.

- Retrieve documents and data from authorized data bases to perform routine tasks that may include data entering new information, validation of data, corrections or updates to existing information and documentation of findings.

- Accurately data enter all appropriate information in multiple eligibility and tracking systems.

- Follow extensive work instructions and prescribed department procedures to make timely and accurate selections in the processing of transactions.

- Determine if an image requires an appointment to be re-scheduled.

- Meet individual and unit performance goals and standards as defined by management.

- Attend and successfully complete job related and industry specific systems and policy training as required to perform the duties of the position.

- Review and analyze discrepancies in data received, request clarification and effectively raises queries to the team supervisor to resolve uncertainties and questions.

Minimum Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience.

- Fluent proficiency in specified language required.

Additional Requirements:

- Office experience preferred

- Must reside in or within 70 miles of San Antonio, TX

- Must be able to work onsite during equipment training for half day and complete classroom and on-the-job training with no time missed.

Home Office Requirements:

- Reliable, high-speed internet service

- Services that connect via a cellular network (mobile hotspot, fixed wireless, etc.) or satellite are incompatible

- Minimum 20 Mbps download speeds

- Must be a traditional, wired high-speed connection such as cable or fiber
- Must be able to connect your computer directly to your modem or router via ethernet cable, Wi-Fi connections are not allowed

- Quiet and distraction-free workspace

- Maximus will supply your computer equipment

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
