Applied Materials’ Applied Global Service Business Unit for metal Deposition Products and Atomic Layer Deposition Products is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2024 We support metal deposition and atomic layer deposition service products. The role we are looking to fill is for a product marketing analyst intern, with responsibilities including market sizing, characteristics, risk profile, and engagement on strategic planning. The position will entail the following:
- Supports market sizing analysis, product value analysis, and develops product scorecards
- Participates in business and financial plan development
- Performs analytics on business cases for service product portfolio
- Engages with technical application and product development on capabilities, timing, and cost.
- Supports product management team and service product development programs
- Engages cross functionally with technical and business partners
- Presents market analysis work to service business unit team
- Uses business analytics tools to support internal business analysis and reporting
Requirements
- Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Marketing, Business, Economics, or other technical or business field
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Education or prior internship experience in services, market analysis, business case studies, and/or with semiconductor processing or manufacturing preferred.
- Quick learner
Compensation
$28 - $35 per hour
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
