We are looking for a reliable part-time Kids Care Lead to work the following shifts:

  • Wednesday through Friday: 4:30 pm to 9 pm
  • Saturdays: 10 am to 1 pm.
  • Events as needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation. Lots of parking is available on or near the Club property.
  • Experience with childcare or education background preferred but not required.
  • Pay starts at $22.00 per hour but can increase based on experience.
Founded in 1927, Sand Point Country Club is the only private golf club in Seattle with all of the amenities of a country club.

Team members have access to the Club's numerous facilities including:
  • Challenging 18-hole course re-designed by world renowned architect David McLay Kidd
  • Covered, heated driving range
  • Four outdoor and lighted tennis courts
  • Fitness Center

Requirements

Job Summary:

The Kids Care Lead is responsible for the safety and engagement of children in Kids Care, Kids Care Events, and/or Camps.

Supervises:
  • Kids Care Attendants
Directly Reports To:
  • Director of Aquatics and Youth Activities
Education, Experience, and Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of childcare experience.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Available to work afternoon, evening, holiday, and weekend shifts as needed.
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations:
  • Conducts themselves in a commendable, responsible, and professional manner at all times and encourages other team members to do the same to reflect the intended image of the Club throughout the Community.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal relations skills, strong and proactive communications, and efficient delivery and gathering of information through numerous mediums such as orally, in writing, and electronically to other team members.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Youth & Family Programs:
  • Provide a clean, safe, and fun childcare environment.
  • Check infants and children in and out while providing basic childcare.
  • Ensure safe play conditions and follows established security procedures.
  • Orient parents regarding policies and procedures of Child Care Area and maintain positive rapport with all parents and patrons.
  • Develop and implement activities for the children and attentively watches and attends to the children.
  • Treat children if injured and complete accident reports, reports to parents and supervisor.
  • Handle complaints and comments and refer comments to appropriate team members.
  • Maintain clean environment; perform janitorial duties on a regular basis including sanitizing area and light housekeeping.
  • Scheduling and coordination of events.
  • Perform related duties as required.
Licenses and Special Requirements
  • Have or be able to obtain a CPR and First Aid Certification within 60 days of hire and keep current throughout employment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Continuous repetitive motions and physical actions.
  • This position requires use of close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to communicate verbally, orally, and electronically.
  • Able to work in a moderate noise level work environment.
