Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers with hydraulic model development, model calibration, system analysis, growth planning, identification of improvements, and capital improvements planning for water distribution and wastewater collection systems
  • Assist project managers in sizing and design of distribution pipelines, storage tanks, pump stations, collection systems, lift stations, force mains, treatment systems, rural water, and municipal facilities
  • Assist with fire flow testing, wastewater flow testing, deploying meters, downloading and interpreting test data, and incorporating data into hydraulic models
  • Assist in preparation of technical reports, memoranda, cost estimating, presentation of results.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Fundamentals in Engineering certified or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel as required
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Innovyze modeling software experience
  • ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro software experience
  • 2 years+ experience on water, wastewater modeling projects
