JOB SUMMARY

The IT Support & Systems Specialist position is primarily responsible for investigating and resolving software and hardware problems of computer users, as well as ensuring proper software and equipment is in place for all staff. You will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve computer application issues and communication solutions and resolutions effectively. KEY OUTCOMES

Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.

Logs and tracks calls using problem management database and maintains history records and related problem documentation.

Install, troubleshoot, maintain and track personal computers, software, and peripheral equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.

Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the Leadership Team.

Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals.

Make recommendations on solving technology deficiencies.

Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.

Ensure all IT systems are maintained and secure.

Monitor information backup procedures and instill strong disaster recovery practices, including contingency planning.

Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.

Promote and ensure universal user adoption of technology, including regular training and appropriate documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a Computer related field with three(3) years or more of experience in a similar position

Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience supporting cloud software (specifically Office365 and Salesforce)

Outstanding organization skills with demonstrated ability to be self-motivated

Experience working in a small, growing company a plus
