Head of Business Development Demand

You will join Appodeal at a key moment as we accelerate growth in demand and supply globally. This is a business-critical hire to take the demand business to the next level by shaping the future of one of the fastest-growing mobile app advertising businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow programmatic ad spend through the Bidmachine exchange;
  • The primary focus will be closing new tier 1 demand partners by building long-term relationships understanding the requirements of each opportunity and knowing what it takes to close each one;
  • Close new tier 2 demand partners to drive incremental short-term revenue and increase SoV across Bidmachine publishers;
  • The secondary focus will be on growing ad spending from existing partnerships with DSPs and SSPs worldwide by building strong relationships at the senior level and unlocking initiatives that drive material revenue change;
  • Work closely with the Demand Account Management team on data-driven initiatives and plans that drive incremental ad spend from demand partners.
Requirements:
  • 10 years + in a business development role at a leading DSP or SSP with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets;
  • Experience in closing tier 1 partnerships and knowing how to navigate and manage long sales cycles;
  • Strong network across tier 1 DSPs and SSPs;
  • Proven business analytical skills to understand trends and guide strategy;
  • Strong communicator with executive leadership audiences and able to effectively distill ideas simply and communicate value propositions clearly.
