ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Head of Demand Generation, you’ll work closely with our founder and leadership team in shaping Skillit’s go-to-market strategy and execution. The role is initially equal parts strategic, creative, and operational and a great opportunity for a passionate and experienced demand generation leader to contribute to our early success and directly impact how our growing list of customers and workers experience Skillit.

STRATEGY


  • Acquisition Mastery: Develop and execute multi-channel paid campaigns for worker and customer acquisition, utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn, Google Ads, and Meta.
  • Lifecycle Ownership: Take charge of acquiring and enhancing the worker and customer lifecycle.
  • Engagement & Retention Expertise: Craft and execute targeted campaigns for effective user and buyer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Analytical Prowess: Demonstrate expertise in executing high-yield demand generation strategies.
  • Paid Growth: Implement and execute paid user acquisition strategies, incorporating pay-per-click advertising, social media advertising, and other paid media tactics.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Analytics) to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives, building a repeatable growth playbook.
  • Team Building: Build, scale, and manage high-growth marketing organizations and teams.


BRAND & CONTENT

  • Brand Marketing: Own product and marketing copywriting and brand tone of voice.
  • Content Excellence: Assist in developing content to target, nurture, engage, and re-engage workers throughout their employment lifecycle.


REPORTING & MANAGEMENT

  • Data-Driven Insight: Monitor and report on B2B budget performance, making necessary adjustments for optimized campaign outcomes.
  • Experimentation Leadership: Manage and initiate data-driven experiments to maximize growth ROI.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new markets and advertising tactics for encouraging rapid growth.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in B2B demand generation, with a track record of successful campaign development and execution.
  • Expertise in using demand generation platforms like LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta and other paid channels for high-impact campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing a playbook for repeatable growth for a SaaS or marketplace business. *Dual-sided marketplace is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into effective marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
