A Quality Inspector is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Orange, CT area. This role involves inspecting manufactured products for quality and consistency using measuring tools and blueprints, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely processing.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

  • Inspect manufactured products for dimensional consistency, workmanship, and finish.

  • Inspect incoming materials for conformance to requirements.

  • Maintain the flow of product through inspection in a timely manner to meet deadlines.

  • Review certification packages and release products for shipment in the ERP system.

  • Use basic measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and other common inspection tools.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

  • Experience in a smaller production environment.

Skills:

  • High attention to detail and consistency.

  • Experience with basic measuring equipment.

  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.

  • Some experience with visual measuring systems desired.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Quality inspection experience (2 to 4 years) - strongly preferred.
