Primary Objective of Position:

This is a dual position with dual responsibilities as a Technology Aide and Adventure Club Registrar. The Technology Aide piece includes performing tasks to aid in the ongoing support of staff and students using technology in the Walter Ambrose Family Center. The Adventure Club Registrar role assists in the registration and transfer of students, and in preparation and maintenance of student records; perform a variety of general office clerical duties

Qualifications:
  • Understand personal computers and wireless technologies.
  • Diagnose & troubleshoot hardware and software problems on desktops, laptops and printers.
  • Install, configure & connect workstations and peripherals on a LAN/WLAN.
  • Ensure teachers know how to use available software and hardware.
  • Train users for full utilization of hardware and software.
Job Description:
  • Maintain computer hardware and printers throughout the entire building
  • Maintain and assist in operation of all audio/visual equipment
  • Act as first troubleshooting contact for all technology in the building; if unable to resolve the problem, place a technology work order
  • Install, update and /or download programs, applications, or assistants as deemed necessary
  • Assist teachers with use of any computer hardware, software, or other equipment, as needed
  • Act as Webmaster for the school's website
  • Participate in the school committee of choice
  • Registers and assigns students as directed
  • Maintains confidentiality of student and school personnel information
  • Prepares and maintains student attendance records
  • Checks and reviews a variety of data for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to established standards and procedures
  • Prepares and maintains files and records and generates reports, as requested
  • Operates standard office equipment
  • Handles a variety of routine technical and administrative assignments
  • Answers multi-line telecommunication system for the purpose of screening calls, transferring calls, responding to inquiries, and/or taking messages
  • Greets public, parents, students, vendors, etc. for the purpose of responding to their inquiries and/or directing them to appropriate personnel
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Experience: One (1) year of related job experience. Knowledge of SIS, Brightwheel, spreadsheets, and Google Suites, preferred
