In this role, you'll be part of Global team, managing and expanding relationships with NSF's large key accounts. You'll lead a team of account managers focusing on driving revenue growth, presenting new ideas and innovations to clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and maximizing the value of the strategic accounts. We are looking for an individual who understands a growth mindset and has experience in the Organic Food space.

Responsibilities

Strategic Account Growth: Drive and achieve revenue and growth targets for business unit. Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to expand business within assigned accounts. Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities for cross-selling and upselling and provide wider exposure of our NSF's services to our customers. Actively participate in professional industry groups to identify and recommend opportunities to gain a competitive edge against competitors in defined channel markets

Relationship Management: Responsible for client retention by developing strategic alignments and strong relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts elevating visibility and closing strategic opportunities. Act as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for the client, understanding their needs and goals and developing initiatives to reduce customer drops

Strategic Planning: Develop account plans and strategies to align with the clients' objectives and company goals. Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance, identify areas for improvement and cross-selling, and recommend solutions with a data-driving mindset

Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of account managers by driving results and managing performance accountability. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team focusing on business growth and achieving revenue targets. Manage and report KPIs to business stakeholders. Provide onboarding to new team members as needed

Customer Success: Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively. Advocate for the clients' needs within the organization and drive customer success initiatives. Establish KPIs and follow-up plans to encourage the highest performance from the team

Revenue Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor revenue performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports BU/division leaders. Forecast revenue and contribute to the overall operational planning process

Qualifications

Proven Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in account management in the food/organic industry with a focus on managing and growing large, key accounts.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the organic certification industry and market trends, particularly in relation to large accounts.

Relationship Building Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization. Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop account plans that align with clients' objectives. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

Leadership Abilities: Previous supervisory/mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of achieving KPI targets and driving revenue growth. Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Systems knowledge: MS Office experience and system knowledge of iPulse is a plus.
