Automotive Contracts Assistant

The Automotive Contract Trainee is responsible for handling the accounting and posting for all vehicle sales; new and used. The ideal candidate has at least some experience in a similar position. He or she can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment handling multiple projects and must have excellent communication, administrative, organizational, and computer skills.
Compensation: The Contracts Clerk Trainee Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.00 and $22.00.
Key responsibilities:
- Process all vehicle sales contracts in accounting.
- Check documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Handles the accounting and posting for all vehicle sales.
- Manages contractual documentation with financial institutions
- Breaks down deals and sends to bank for funding
- Responsible for schedules pertaining to the sale of new and used vehicles including but not limited to payoffs, due bills, rebates, and vehicle receivables.
- Prints, analyzes, and distributes reports as requested by management
- Ensures that all accounting transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Verify and post contract funding.
- Performs other duties as assigned
