  • Road Testing: Safely conduct road tests on designated routes as required.
  • Quality Assurance: Strive for top-notch repairs to minimize return visits.
  • Efficiency Tracking: Maintain high levels of productivity by monitoring clocked hours versus flagged hours.
  • Communication: Collaborate with Service Advisors to suggest additional safety or service work and adjust repair orders as necessary.
  • Parts Coordination: Work with the parts department to obtain quotes and necessary components.
  • Warranty Management: Retain and label defective warranty parts appropriately.
  • Continuous Learning: Pursue ongoing education and brand certifications to enhance technical knowledge.
  • Client Interaction: Occasionally engage with clients to explain complex diagnoses or repairs.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Uphold a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Team Support: Assist fellow technicians and contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Proficient in English reading and math to comprehend contracts and manufacturer information.
  • Ability to accurately recall and track work progress.
  • Experience as a certified technician with a minimum of 2 years in automotive service, preferably with manufacturer certification.
  • Graduation from an Automotive Trade School.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity, capable of using various tools and machinery.
  • Understanding of the automotive repair lifecycle.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Possession of personal tools required for the job.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.

Physical Requirements
