Description

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour work week scheduled for Shift 3.

If you are a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of two years of critical care experience in a tertiary care facility and have successfully completed hospital-based ECMO specialist training and certification, this role may be a great fit for you.

We are looking for a team member who can efficiently manage the ECMO system, provide care to patients on ECMO, and perform as an expert practitioner of respiratory care. In addition, you will provide respiratory care to patients with minimal guidance when not involved in an ECMO case or activity.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree from an AMA approved Respiratory program (Preferred Bachelors)
  • Valid State of Connecticut Respiratory Care Practitioner license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) granted by The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • BLS/ACLS Certified
  • Successful completion of hospital-based ECMO specialist training and certification
  • Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS) certification by The National Board for Respiratory Care (obtained within 6 months of hire date)
