Full-Time Respiratory Care Specialist - Night Shift (11pm-7am)

Your Role:

As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will be integral in promoting the comfort, safety, and health of our residents. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional care to individuals with respiratory challenges.

Core Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive respiratory evaluations, create tailored care strategies, and implement suitable treatments for residents with respiratory issues.

- Oversee and support residents who depend on ventilators, ensuring their equipment operates correctly and addressing any complications swiftly.

- Administer prescribed oxygen therapy, monitor oxygen saturation levels, and modify treatment as needed to ensure optimal respiratory health.

- Educate residents and their families about respiratory conditions, treatment options, and self-management techniques to foster independence and enhance outcomes.

- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care plans and ensure effective communication.

- Act promptly in respiratory emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team as necessary.

What You Bring:

Qualifications:

- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).

- Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.

- Prior experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare environment is preferred.

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- A commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
