  • Position: Full-Time Respiratory Care Specialist (Night Shift)

Your Role:


As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will be integral in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents with respiratory challenges.

You will deliver exceptional care to individuals with various respiratory conditions.

Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive respiratory evaluations, formulate personalized care strategies, and administer suitable treatments for residents facing respiratory issues.

Oversee and support residents who depend on ventilators, ensuring optimal operation and addressing any arising complications swiftly.

Provide oxygen therapy as directed, monitor oxygen saturation levels, and modify therapy as needed to sustain optimal respiratory health.

Educate residents and their families regarding respiratory conditions, treatment options, and self-management techniques to foster independence and enhance health outcomes.

Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate thorough care plans and ensure effective communication.

Act promptly in respiratory emergencies, delivering immediate care and liaising with the interdisciplinary team as required.

  • Qualifications:
Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is required.

Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is essential.

Experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare environment is preferred.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities are necessary.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is essential.

A commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care is vital.
