Desktop Support

Vaco Technology is seeking aDesktop Support Analyst for a manufacturing clientin Quincy, ILfora 6-month contractpositionpaying between $18-22/hr. There is a possibility of a contract extension or the consultantgoing permanent after the initial6 months contract is complete.

This is an ONSITE IT Support role in a manufacturing environment where you will be supporting the client's internal employees who are using Windows 10 and Office 365. You will have some Active Directory/Exchange responsibilities, some systems administration, and daily desktop support duties(resetting printers, passwords, etc..).
Note: The client is open to training and growing the candidate as long as there is a solid IT education foundation and some IT experience.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 2yearsof IT support experience
  • Experience supporting Windows 10 and Office 365(O365)
  • Active Directory experience PREFERRED (adding/deleting users, group policy)
  • Imaging experiencePREFERRED (SCCM, Ghost, PWE, etc..)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment PREFERRED (Zebra printers, RF scanners, etc..)
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Shell scripting or troubleshooting PL/SQL (Oracle) is highly desired

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
