Position Overview:

They are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) specializing in Oncology. As a CNS, you will play a crucial role in advancing nursing practice, improving patient outcomes, leading continuous quality improvement and research initiatives, and promoting professional development within our client's organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee clinical integration, specializing in the Oncology area, and further develop the specialized role within this domain.

- Provide expert, integrated, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care through the coordination of care, particularly for high-risk patients with complex issues in Oncology.

- Act as an educator, consultant, mentor, researcher, and active participant in the collaborative practice framework.

- Demonstrate leadership through committee involvement and active participation in team projects.

- Promote and uphold ethical standards throughout the organization.

Requirements:

Education/Training:

- Master's Degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

- Willing to consider Registered Nurses (RNs) with a Master's Degree who are committed to completing a post-master's CNS certificate within 2 years of hire.

- $30,000 in tuition reimbursement for CNS certification, applicable to any debt from obtaining a Master's within the last 5 years.

Licensing and Certification:

- Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.

- Plan to obtain ANCC Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Experience:

- Strong clinical background in Oncology.
