Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) with a focus on Oncology.

In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing nursing practices, enhancing patient outcomes, spearheading quality improvement and research projects, and fostering professional development within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical integration efforts with a specialization in Oncology, further refining the specialized role in this area.
  • Deliver expert, integrated, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care through effective care coordination, especially for high-risk patients facing complex challenges in Oncology.
  • Serve as an educator, consultant, mentor, researcher, and an active contributor to the collaborative practice framework.
  • Exhibit leadership through participation in committees and involvement in team initiatives.
  • Uphold and promote ethical standards throughout the organization.

Requirements:

Education/Training:

  • Master's Degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
  • Registered Nurses (RNs) with a Master's Degree who are dedicated to completing a post-master's CNS certificate within two years of employment will also be considered.
- Up to $30,000 in tuition reimbursement for CNS certification, applicable to any student debt incurred from obtaining a Master's within the last five years.

Licensing and Certification:

  • Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.
  • Intent to obtain ANCC Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Experience:

  • Robust clinical experience in Oncology.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
